Deadlines for Moodle Hack/Doc Fest, Winter 2016 at Reed College in Portland, OR are rapidly approaching.The hotel reservation deadline is Friday, November 20, 2015. The event registration deadline is Friday, Dec. 11, 2015.
The Winter Hack/Doc Fest is being held Wednesday, Jan. 6 through Friday, Jan. 8, 2016. There will be a Documentation/Code Sprint the day before Hack/Doc begins on Tuesday, Jan. 5. Visit the event homepage.
Congratulations to Doc'er Fritz Vandover from Macalester College and Hacker Ken Newquist from Lafayette College. The CLAMP Recognition Awards are awarded annually to one programmer (e.g.; hacker) and one instructional technologist (e.g.; doc’er) to acknowledge outstanding achievement as members of the organization. These achievements include work on Moodle development, Moodle documentation, CLAMP organization and/or recruitment to CLAMP.
CLAMP MUG at Holy Cross has been cancelled, but Hack/Doc Fest is still on. Moodle Moot US 2015 is being held in Minneapolis this August, and CLAMP is wondering which member schools may be interested in attending the event. Finally nominations are open for the CLAMP Steering Committee Members and Recognition Awards.
CLAMP is accepting nominations of member colleges to succeed them; terms are for three years. You need not specify who will represent the college on the committee now, and you can nominate schools other than your own.
