New Moodle LAE Releases for 2.7.13, 2.8.11, 2.9.5, 3.0.3

There are four new Moodle: Liberal Arts Edition releases. There are no new LAE features; these are maintenance releases only. Moodle core introduced major changes to the gradebook beginning in Moodle 2.8. Please see CLAMP’s Moodle 2.8 and Moodle 2.9 recommendations for more information.

Registration open for Moodle Hack/Doc Fest, Summer 2016 at Butler

Registration is now open for Moodle Hack/Doc Fest, Summer 2016! The event is being held Tuesday, June 21 through Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. A pre-Hack/Doc documentation and coding sprint will be held Monday, June 20, 2016. Moodle Hack/Doc Fest is a free event. Attendees will need to pay for their own transportation, lodging, and dinner.

Fritz Vandover Selected as Treasurer of Moodle Users Association

Fritz Vandover, Academic Information Associate for Humanities at Macalester College, has been selected to be Treasurer of the Moodle Users Association Committee. The Moodle Users Association Committee is an elected body of members responsible for the management of membership, activity and financial activity of the Association. CLAMP is proud to participate on the committee and to be represented by a long-time member of the Collaborative Liberal Arts Moodle Project. Fritz was a CLAMP Recognition Award winner in 2015, a fantastic organizer and host of the 2014 MUG and Hack/Doc events, and a past member of the CLAMP Steering Committee.

New Moodle LAE Releases for 2.7.12, 2.8.10, 2.9.4, 3.0.2

There are four new Moodle: Liberal Arts Edition releases. This is the initial release on the 3.0 branch. The 2.7, 2.8, and 2.9 releases are maintenance-only. Moodle core introduced major changes to the gradebook beginning in Moodle 2.8. Please see CLAMP’s Moodle 2.8 and Moodle 2.9 recommendations for more information. The 3.0 release includes updates to the Ad-hoc database queries report, CLAMPMail, Edit Dates report, and Roster report.
